Following our rebrand work for Promised Land Dairy, we were tasked to reimagine how their annual tradition of "Milkshake Summer" would come to life with the new lens of luxury and rich taste. We had already created three years of Milkshake Summers for the client so aesthetic wasn't so much the challenge as what would feel fresh, innovative, but on brand. And so, our concept of "Milkshake Masterpieces" was born!
The campaign elevated Promised Land Dairy's summer content strategy by answering an intriguing creative question: What if beloved cultural icons—from film to literature to pop culture—were transformed into luxurious, Instagram-worthy milkshakes?
We created 10+ unique, visually striking in-feed videos and photos of masterpiece-inspired milkshake creations, paired with written cues that hinted at the inspiration without directly naming it—allowing us to tap into our millennial audience’s nostalgia without any legal concerns. The interactive format invited followers to demonstrate their cultural knowledge and increase engagement on our socials. To reward engagement, we would randomly select participants to receive some branded swag.
By transforming ordinary milkshakes into cultural "masterpieces," we created highly successful and shareable content that drove meaningful engagement and fun content for the summer while highlighting the brand's essential message: with Promised Land Dairy, the everyday can become a little more decadent and delicious.
